RAW FEEDING FAQ'S
Our FQA's about raw feeding
Most pet parents notice changes within the first week. Many people comment on how excited their pets get at feeding time. Benefits including shinier coats, cleaner teeth, smaller and less odorous stools, and increased energy. Long-term, a species-appropriate raw diet supports a healthy immune system, healthy digestion, and weight management.
If your pet is dealing with chronic conditions, we have protocols-along with the diet change, that will begin the healing process in your pet. To sum up the number one main benefit of raw feeding; Imagine a future with fewer to no more veterinary visits for preventable illnesses, a dog thriving free from chronic allergies, debilitating digestive issues, or the burden of certain diseases.
absolutely! A species-appropriate raw diet allows puppies to grow at a steady, natural pace rather than an artificially accelerated one. For large breeds, this controlled growth curve is absolutely crucial. By preventing the rapid, heavy weight gain often caused by carb-loaded commercial diets, a raw diet protects their developing joints and prevents early, unnecessary stress on their hips. Plus, a balanced raw bowl delivers every single essential nutrient your puppy needs to build a strong, resilient foundation.
The short answer is no! Quality nutrition is the foundation of a long, healthy life. While a raw diet may seem to cost a bit more upfront than a highly processed bag of kibble. When you feed species-appropriate nutrition, you are building health from the inside out. The money you spend on quality food today saves you thousands in the long run by avoiding trips to the vet for preventable illnesses, a dog thriving free from chronic allergies, and a healthier coat and digestive system chronic Simply put: true health is always the most cost-effective choice and the return is massive. A proactive diet will always cost less than reactive sick-care.
There’s two common methods to transition. We recommend the straight switch which entails feeding their old food or kibble in the evening and then switching to the new raw food in the morning. The other way is the gradual method: introduce one raw protein for 3–7 days, then add variety. We don’t recommend mixing your dog’s kibble with raw as they digest in the stomach at different rates. We offer a Transition Package that includes the raw food, herbal transition supplements for a smooth transition and probiotics with enzymes to get the gut populated with everything they need to digest and absorb all the nutrition. This package comes with daily instructions and free "Tech Support" anytime you have a question.
